The new ODF (Oregon Department of Forestry) Prescribed Fire and Liability Program provides liability coverage for prescribed fires and cultural burns in Lane County and throughout the state.
The program is “intened to increase the pace and scale of the use of prescribed fire and cultural burning in Oregon”.
Properties must be enrolled in the program prior to a burn to be covered.
