SPENCER BUTTE NEIGHBORHOOD ASSOCIATION
WELCOME TO THE
NEIGHBORHOOD
Established in 1954, Spencer Butte Neighborhood Association’s mission is to ensure our neighbors connected and informed.

ABOUT THE SBNA
The Spencer Butte Neighborhood Association (SBNA) was formed in 1954 as a way to keep neighbors connected and informed of things happening in our rural setting. Our organization has gone through many transformations over the years. In its present state, the SBNA maintains itself as a social organization along with community education and awareness, as it strives to keep neighbors connected and informed about local issues and concerns.
SBNA is made up of a diverse, interesting, and active group of neighbors. We have a local board that represents the neighbors and their concerns. We host an annual meeting and different social events throughout the year; wine tastings, picnics, and garden walks. All activities are created by the interests expressed by our neighbors.

Outdoor Pile Burning
There were already several grass fires in the Eugene/Springfield area last month. Before you burn, think about wildfire and grass fire prevention, even at this time of year.

Balancing Fire Safety and a Healthy Forest
Forest, open space, & wildlife make this a wonderful place to live. However, these features put our homes and properties at high fire risk during the dry season.
