Why Join the Spencer Butte Neighborhood Association (SBNA)?

SBNA is an all-volunteer, non-political group connecting people living in the Spencer Butte area with each other and keeping us informed about issues that affect us. Spencer Butte is located just south of Eugene, Oregon.

Who can join?

Households on South Willamette Street and Fox Hollow Road, or roads accessed by them, roughly between the Eugene city limits and McBeth Road.

Why join SBNA?

Get to know your neighbors – Many of us live on long driveways; we often don’t meet each other in the course of daily living.

Activities our dues support:

      • Website, sbna.net.
      • SBNA Facebook Group, that is open only to SBNA area residents. Postings include upcoming events in the neighborhood, road conditions, wildlife sightings, topical discussions, etc. To join the group, send a request from the Facebook page and include your address.
      • Local Neighborhood Groups – We are divided into 10 local neighborhood groups to facilitate contact with nearby neighbors. Some of our local groups are Firewise communities.
      • Monthly e-mail bulletin board – lists items for sale or for free, and other announcements.
      • A Group E-Mail List for announcements, resources available for wildfire prevention, etc. We will not flood your e-mail inbox or sell our e-mail list. Generally, we send out 1-4 e-mails a month.
      • Social activities – this year a picnic and wine tasting are planned.
      • An Annual Newsletter sent to all households in the area, whether or not they are SBNA members
      • Maintenance of our 5-acre Park.
      • Educational Presentations.

How much does it cost to join?

Dues are a whopping $15 per year.
